Please excuse us, while our website is under construction-- meanwhile, we will do our best to provide you with our basic information until this project is complete.
Our local church is part of a small denomination known as 'The Primitive Methodist Church' that was originally based in the eastern part of the U.S., ministering early on to coal miners who moved there from England. Later, as lead mines opened in southern Wisconsin, Primitive Methodist itinerate preachers arrived to minister to the laborers and their families here. Our church, now in its third location, was established in 1843. Obviously, the lead mines have long since closed, but this congregation is still alive and continues to touch the hearts and lives of our community for Christ. It is our desire to be a blessing to you and to all who gather here to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
We invite you to experience fulfilling worship and warm Christian friendship. Please allow Pastor Paul & Bobbie Glendenning and the whole congregation to open their arms and hearts to you.
When our site is complete, we will feature the ministries of Sunday School for all ages, Children's Church during Sunday am services, Pioneer Club for kids (2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month), Nursing Home ministry, monthly Missions Emphasis, Adult Choir, Kids Band, and a brand new College-age Ministry, started in August.
You are invited to come and experience the friendly fellowship of believers at Westview Methodist Church.
